Discovery Center appoints new board members, officers

The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring announced its new slate of board members and officers for 2022. The museum welcomes Paula E. Harris, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President for Barge Design Solutions, as incoming Board President.

Harris also serves on multiple community boards and is the Executive Director for Leadership Franklin, TN. She is a graduate of Leadership Rutherford and Leadership Middle Tennessee. A native of Williamson County, she and her husband David live in Thompson’s Station, TN.

“We are thrilled to have a Board of Trustees that is deeply committed to our mission of engaging curious minds to fuel the future,” said museum President and CEO Tara MacDougall. “We are thankful for their willingness to give of their time and resources to help Discovery Center reach its full potential as a place of learning and growth for families in our community.”
