Murfreesboro offices slated to close on upcoming holidays

In observance of the Christmas holidays, most City of Murfreesboro offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 22 and Monday, Dec. 25, 2017.

The Parks & Recreation Office, Cannonsburgh Village, and Bradley Academy will be closed Friday, Dec. 22 through Monday, Dec. 25.

McFadden Community Center will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 25.  Patterson Park Community Center and Sports*Com will be open regular hours on Friday, Dec. 22, Saturday, Dec. 23, and Sunday, Dec. 24, closed Monday, Dec. 25. The Wilderness Station will be open regular hours on Friday, Dec. 22, and Saturday, Dec. 23, closed Sunday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 25.

Adams Tennis Complex will be open regular hours Thursday, Dec. 21 and Friday Dec. 22, will close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, closing on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24, at 2:00 p.m., and closed on Monday, Dec. 25. 

Old Fort and VA Golf Courses will be closed on Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25.

Rover, the City’s public transportation service, will not run Friday, Dec. 22 and Monday, Dec. 25.  

The St. Clair Street Senior Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 22, Saturday, Dec. 23 and Monday Dec. 25.  The Senior Center is closed on Sunday. 

There will be no change to Solid Waste garbage collection the week of Dec. 18-22.  On Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, collection will be moved back to Tuesday, Dec. 26.  Tuesday’s collection will be moved to Wednesday, Dec. 27. 

City business offices will resume their regular hours of operation, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017.
