Annual NAACP Breakfast set for Jan. 26 at MTSU

The NAACP's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday Jan. 26 in MTSU's James Union Building.

The theme is "Do Justice, Love Mercy and Walk Humbly!" Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students, and Table of 8 for $220. Deadline for tickets is Friday, Jan. 18. Tickets available at Eventbrite or Carolyn Cox cdc4c@att.net 615-969-5994

The keynote speech will be delivered by the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey N. Leath, 128th Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Leath currently serves the 13th Episcopal District in Kentucky & Tennessee. 

He is a graduate of Yale College, Yale Divinity School (Master of Divinity) and United Theological Seminary (Dayton, Ohio) - Doctor of Ministry. Leath is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and he is a 33rd Degree Prince Hall Mason.
