Here in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, the League of Women Voters has been helping citizens engage in local, Tennessee, and national government since 1957. The LWV is a nationwide nonpartisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. We have a strong commitment to voter education, action and advocacy for public policy. We study and take positions on issues, but we never support or oppose any candidate, party or political appointee.
Murfreesboro CityTV will televise and stream the City Council and City School Board candidate forums hosted by the League of Women Voters of Murfreesboro/Rutherford County.
